THROUGH THE FIRE

There's been a lot of talk about revival.  A lot of "preachers", especially in the United States have declared that God is moving and doing wondrous things.  They declare that the "church" is in revival.  They even hold "revival" meetings throughout the country declaring that the church is on the move and that God is moving to bring health and wealth to the "church".  They ascertain this from the fact that their records of "church" attendance is up, and the fact that their meetings are growing in size.  In fact they declare that God's will is being done as they tear down and construct building after building to contain all the people; and all of this is of course funded by the command and demand of God to "build thee kingdom".  But, let me ask a question....what are they preaching?  Is their doctrine what the whole counsel of the Word of God says?

Yes God's Word does declare that Jesus will build His "church", but what does that mean?  How does He go about it?  Is the increase of numbers attending "church" a sure indication that God is bringing revival?

Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet,  Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest?  Hath not my hand made all these things?  Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye (Acts 7:48-51).

As we shall see, the building of the "church" is a Sovereign act of Almighty God and not accomplished by the "free will" of man.  God has an exact mode of operation, He has ways that are above man's ways, but He has revealed some of these mysteries in His Word unto His Friends.

Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you (Jn. 15:15).

When we look at the Life of Jesus Christ we can see Who God is.  He is the visible representation of the invisible Father.  When we look at the life of Jesus the divine mystery of suffering, death and resurrection are revealed.

In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.  And this I say, lest any man should beguile you with enticing words (Col. 2:3-4).

We see in the life of Jesus that before God can bring forth resurrection, He must first bring death!

We can see that God, as a wise master builder always starts at the foundation when He starts to build and first destroys the old order of things that He might bring in the new. Without the proper declaration of the death of Jesus Christ one cannot be saved!

Without a revelation of the purpose of God in judging His Son one cannot be forgiven or begin to understand God's mode of operation based on His character as A Sovereign Ruler.

As we look at the life of Jesus we can see that revival or resurrection happens after and only after judgment and death.  Judgment and death are necessary in the purpose of God in bringing forth the resurrection Life of His Son, Jesus Christ.

Anything less than the preaching of death, burial and resurrection isn't the truth, but is another gospel!!

Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.  For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures(1 Cor. 15:1-4).

For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God (1 Cor. 1:18).

THE REFINER'S FIRE

There was a song that came out a few years ago, that talked about the refiner's fire.  The song starts off with the man testifying how he got saved, and accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior.  It goes on to talk about his spiritual life and how that after a period of time he realized that the most comfortable place to be was in the refiner's fire.  He talked about how that he knew when he was in the refiner's fire that God's hand was upon him, that he was being purified, that he was being cleansed, and being brought into a closer relationship with God.  Thus, in his spiritual maturity, being able to understand how God operates by using the fiery trials of life, he declares that the refiner's fire has become his one and only desire!  This is very scriptural.

Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby (Heb. 12:11).

The one that has learned to enjoy the purifying process of the Spirit of God is one who understands the deep mystery of suffering evil in agreement with the will of God, and being conformed into the image of Jesus Christ.

What?  Is it possible that suffering could be the will of God?

Today, in most of what is called the "church" of Jesus Christ, suffering is seen as an evil thing.  We are taught that God does not want us to suffer.  We are taught that God wants us to have the "good life".  Never see bad days, and always have everything go right.  The false prophets of christendom even go so far as to twist the Word of God into is an easy escapism, called the rapture, not understanding the complete purpose of God for tribulation.

Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God (Acts 14:22).

How it is in the North American church that we could believe that suffering isn't part of God's plan and purpose is beyond my mind to comprehend.  It is written plainly in the very Bible they preach from.

The Word of God is plain and clear from the lips of Jesus Christ and into the lives of all the apostles and into history about the price that it costs to have a relationship with the True and Living God and his son Jesus Christ.  You can scarcely turn a page to any chapter in the Bible or any chapter in history and not see that true Christians, washed in the blood of Jesus Christ, were always shedding their blood and being persecuted from place to place.

Is God powerless to protect his people?  Why would He allow Christians to suffer persecution?  Can't He stop it?  I ask these questions facetiously; because of course God has power over all.  If you have eyes to see and ears to hear the Word of the Living God all confusion will be put to rest, and you can gain an understanding into the divine mystery of suffering and evil, why it exists, and how to overcome it.

Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.  For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?  And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?  Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator (1 Pet. 4:16-19).

But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world (1 Cor. 11:32).

In 1 Peter 4:17 what is the judgment that must begin at the house of God?  And what does it mean to suffer, according to the will of God?  Now, we will endeavor to answer those questions and bring a resolution to the confusion about the character of God as an Absolute Sovereign Ruler over everything in the universe including the suffering of evil.

A sovereign act of God

And one shall say unto him, What are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.  Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, saith the LORD of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones.  And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein.  And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God (Zech. 13:6-9).

There are many things that God is doing in these four verses.  But we will focus for now, on verse nine.  The first four words, "and I will bring" denotes a Sovereign act of the will of the True and the Living God.  The word "bring" in Hebrew means to go or to come, to call, abide, attain, take, pull in, surely take in.  So in this verse of Scripture God says that He will call, attain, pull, and surely take in the third part through the fire.  Why? Why would God take a third part of his people through the fire??  Isn't fire painful?  Doesn't it burn?  God says he will refine them as silver is refined and will try them as gold is tried.

The ancient and traditional way of refining gold and silver is to put it in a cauldron and heated until the gold ore becomes a liquid.  As the gold is heated and melted down the impurities and alloys of other metals trapped inside of the gold are released and float to the top.  As this liquid gold starts to cool down the impurities are scraped off of the top of the gold and discarded.  The gold is purified, cleansed, and made useful by its experience of the fire.  Without this process of the fire, gold would remain a mixture of various metals.

This is the process that God says that He will take us through!  By the Sovereign hand of Almighty God, he will bring us through the fire.  He will bring the extreme testing of trials of fire, in order to refine us, cleanse us, and make us useful in His kingdom.

Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you (1 Pet. 4:12).

This process is not strange.  This is how the spirit of the Living God operates to bring forth righteousness in is called and chosen sons.

Not understanding the character and the nature of God as Sovereign, many times we resist the evil, tests and trials of this life; not knowing that God's sovereignty sent these tests and trials of fire our way, in order to purify us, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

The teaching and belief that the God of the Bible does not use evil for the perfecting of His sons is a heretical accusation against the character of the True and Living God.  According to his own Word and the testimony of all who have served Him in spirit and truth, evil and the testings of fire are the very things that bring forth the pure Life of the Son of God within.

But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.  For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.  For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.  But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.  We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;  Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;  Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.  For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.  So then death worketh in us, but life in you.  We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak; Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.  For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.  For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.  For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal (2 Cor. 4:3-18).

And this heresy that denies the Sovereignty of God in using evil to perfect His sons is rampant in the apostate "churches" especially in United States, which believes and teaches that God wants you to have the "good life" and doesn't want you to suffer.  This is a false god of their own making that is conformed to their culture and isn't the pure truth of the Word of God!

Am I making false accusations?  If I declared this truth in 99.9% of modern day "churches" they would kick me out and brand me as a heretic; and yet this is exactly what the Holy Bible teaches!!

A False Accusation?

But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips (Job 2:10).

In this verse of scripture we see a very wise man in his understanding and relationship of the living God.  Job, who went through a major trial and suffering, declares that God's hand is the One who brings good and evil; and the Scripture declares to us that Job did not sin with his lips.  To say that God is the author of good and evil is exactly what the Truth of the Word of God declares.

That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else.  I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things (Isa. 45:6-7).

Now, in the apostate "church" they won't tell you this.  They cannot understand the simple truth of God's words, neither do they take the Word of God as their final authority, even though they will proclaim to believe that His word is inspired.  They will try to twist this scripture and say that it doesn't mean what it says....believe me, it means what it says!! God is the Absolute Sovereign Ruler of the universe!!!

God will purify His people (a 3rd part) by bringing them through the refiner's fire.  Remember that 2 parts shall be cut off and die; 2 parts of what?  2 parts of the sheep that scattered when the shepherd was smitten.

No, we don't have to twist God's Word, and it isn't a false accusation to say that He created everything good and evil for His purpose.  And as we shall see, understanding the character and nature of God as Sovereign is vital for surviving the judgment that is coming, yea, is here in these last days.

I urge you dear reader to heed the Words of the Living God so that you might be prepared for the days ahead and not be confused when The True God shows up.

But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap:  And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness (Mal. 3:2-3).

And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.  I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire: Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire (Matt. 3:10-12).

The False Prophets of Jeremiah's Day

The Jews were attacked in a war and carried away as captives of the king of Babylon.  God had brought judgment on them for being mixed in and polluted with the surrounding pagan nations.  They were worshiping false gods while still proclaiming His Name.

While in Babylon prophets rose up to declare the counsel of the Word of God.  One prophet stood up and declared that God would break the yoke of the king of Babylon off of the Jewish people within two years, and that the Jewish people would be able to return to Jerusalem.

And it came to pass the same year, in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the fourth year, and in the fifth month, that Hananiah the son of Azur the prophet, which was of Gibeon, spake unto me in the house of the LORD, in the presence of the priests and of all the people, saying, Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, saying, I have broken the yoke of the king of Babylon.  Within two full years will I bring again into this place all the vessels of the LORD'S house, that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took away from this place, and carried them to Babylon:  And I will bring again to this place Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah, with all the captives of Judah, that went into Babylon, saith the LORD: for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.  Then the prophet Jeremiah said unto the prophet Hananiah in the presence of the priests, and in the presence of all the people that stood in the house of the LORD, Even the prophet Jeremiah said, Amen: the LORD do so: the LORD perform thy words which thou hast prophesied, to bring again the vessels of the LORD'S house, and all that is carried away captive, from Babylon into this place.   Nevertheless hear thou now this word that I speak in thine ears, and in the ears of all the people; The prophets that have been before me and before thee of old prophesied both against many countries, and against great kingdoms, of war, and of evil, and of pestilence.  The prophet which prophesieth of peace, when the word of the prophet shall come to pass, then shall the prophet be known, that the LORD hath truly sent him.  Then Hananiah the prophet took the yoke from off the prophet Jeremiah's neck, and brake it.  And Hananiah spake in the presence of all the people, saying, Thus saith the LORD; Even so will I break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon from the neck of all nations within the space of two full years. And the prophet Jeremiah went his way.  Then the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah the prophet, after that Hananiah the prophet had broken the yoke from off the neck of the prophet Jeremiah, saying,  Go and tell Hananiah, saying, Thus saith the LORD; Thou hast broken the yokes of wood; but thou shalt make for them yokes of iron.  For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; I have put a yoke of iron upon the neck of all these nations, that they may serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; and they shall serve him: and I have given him the beasts of the field also.   Then said the prophet Jeremiah unto Hananiah the prophet, Hear now, Hananiah; The LORD hath not sent thee; but thou makest this people to trust in a lie.  Therefore thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will cast thee from off the face of the earth: this year thou shalt die, because thou hast taught rebellion against the LORD.  So Hananiah the prophet died the same year in the seventh month (Jer. 28:1-17).

God did not send this hananiah, but he was a false prophet.  What?  Why does God call him a false prophet?  In verse 15, we can see that his prophecy made the people to trust a lie!  He presumed to declare the counsel of God.  He was trying to soothe with the people that were now captives in a foreign land.  He taught rebellion against the Lord by telling them that they would be free in 2 years.

Yes it was true that the Jews would be free to return to Jerusalem, but not in the timing that this false prophet was declaring.  This causes rebellion in God's people because to be in the will of God one must understand the timing of God.  Yes it is true that God will build His "church" and bring revival and resurrection, but to declare this without understanding God's purpose in sending the evil of judgment brings God's people into rebellion.

All true prophets from God declare the counsel of God in agreement with His timing which brings forth knowledge of the purpose of God, so that his sons and daughters might obey.

This false prophecy was a contradiction to the purpose of God.  God had ordained that the king of Babylon judge His people and carry them away captive for a specific reason and for a specific period of time.

Jeremiah on the other hand was a prophet of the True in the Living God, and he declared...

Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, unto all that are carried away captives, whom I have caused to be carried away from Jerusalem unto Babylon; Build ye houses, and dwell in them; and plant gardens, and eat the fruit of them; Take ye wives, and beget sons and daughters; and take wives for your sons, and give your daughters to husbands, that they may bear sons and daughters; that ye may be increased there, and not diminished.  And seek the peace of the city whither I have caused you to be carried away captives, and pray unto the LORD for it: for in the peace thereof shall ye have peace.  For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Let not your prophets and your diviners, that be in the midst of you, deceive you, neither hearken to your dreams which ye cause to be dreamed.  For they prophesy falsely unto you in my name: I have not sent them, saith the LORD.  For thus saith the LORD, That after seventy years be accomplished at Babylon I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place.  For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.  Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.  And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.  And I will be found of you, saith the LORD: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you, saith the LORD; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive.

Jeremiah did not prophesy falsely to the people of God.  He did not give them a vain hope that there was going to be some type of revival and restoration before God's complete purpose had come to pass in judging his people.  Jeremiah declared the whole counsel of God.  Jeremiah prophesied to the people of God that they would be held captive for 70 years and that after 70 years were accomplished God would visit his people.

In light of this knowledge they were able to understand how to live and had a hope based on the truth that would surely come to pass.  True prophets, like Jeremiah establish faith and obedience in God's people as they reveal the purpose and timing of God's will.

False prophets always prophesy peace and safety.  False prophets do not understand the divine mystery of the cross or the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

False prophets, do not understand the will of God in allowing suffering and judgment in order to purify and purchase people from unrighteousness to bring them forth into the purpose of God in conforming them into the image of Jesus Christ.

True prophets always declare the cross.  True prophets, that really hear the counsel of the Living God, declare the purging and purifying process of God's will in allowing the suffering of evil to reveal His character as a Sovereign Ruler, a father that disciplines His children.  The Sovereignty of God is central to true faith and trust in His will.

Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you: they make you vain: they speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of the LORD.  They say still unto them that despise me, The LORD hath said, Ye shall have peace; and they say unto every one that walketh after the imagination of his own heart, No evil shall come upon you.  For who hath stood in the counsel of the LORD, and hath perceived and heard his word? Who hath marked his word, and heard it?  Behold, a whirlwind of the LORD is gone forth in fury, even a grievous whirlwind: it shall fall grievously upon the head of the wicked.  The anger of the LORD shall not return, until he have executed, and till he have performed the thoughts of his heart: in the latter days ye shall consider it perfectly.  I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied.  But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings. Am I a God at hand, saith the LORD, and not a God afar off?  Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the LORD. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the LORD.  I have heard what the prophets said, that prophesy lies in my name, saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed.  How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies? yea, they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart;  Which think to cause my people to forget my name by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbour, as their fathers have forgotten my name for Baal.  The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that hath my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat? saith the LORD.  Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?  Therefore, behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that steal my words every one from his neighbour.  Behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that use their tongues, and say, He saith.  Behold, I am against them that prophesy false dreams, saith the LORD, and do tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies, and by their lightness; yet I sent them not, nor commanded them: therefore they shall not profit this people at all, saith the LORD (Jer. 23:16-32).

Many of those that stand in the pulpits of the modern day "church" are false prophets, declaring peace and safety, comfort and prosperity, not knowing that judgment must begin at the house of God.

It's especially true in the United States where there are false prophets declaring everything but the full counsel of the death burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the LORD.  Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith the LORD (Jer. 23:1-2).

Not declaring a full counsel of God as Sovereign over evil, but allowing evil to perfect his sons,  keeps people in a place of a false hope, unprepared for the coming persecution and judgment upon the United States of America.

Almost all preaching in the United States is to declare that God wants you to be "blessed", based on a false concept of the word blessed.  The modern apostate definition of the word blessed is to not suffer anything evil or have any hardships of life.  Is that the true Gospel of Jesus Christ?  How does that compare with those who live a life of true faith in the kingdom of God?

And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment: They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented; (Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth (Heb. 11:36-38).

He that has ears, let him hear what the Spirit of God says to the Church of Jesus Christ in the United States of America!!

Wake up to the Truth of the Sovereignty of God and prepare yourself for surely we are in a collision course with the judgment of God!!!

Everything is going to shake

See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven: Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.  And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.  Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:  For our God is a consuming fire (Heb. 12:25-29).

God tells us that everything they can be shaken will be shaken!  So that that which cannot be shaken may remain.  The only thing that cannot be shaken is the Word of God.

And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not (Jn. 1:5).

The Word of God cannot be overcome by the darkness of this world.  The Word of God that lives and abides forever is the only Sure and True Foundation that will endure.

Jesus Christ is the Word of God.

This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.  Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved (Acts 4:11-12).

The builders in modern apostate Christianity have forgotten the foundation of the "church".  Jesus Christ and Him crucified is the Stone that has been set at naught by modern day false prophets who don't understand the purposes of God in using evil to perfect His sons nor His timing.

Because to every purpose there is time and judgment,(Eccl. 8:6a).

For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ (! Cor. 3:11).

Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell (the grave) are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:  Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.  Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place (Isa 28:15-17).

Those who trust in the death burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ now living inside of them, manifesting His Life through them will be established upon a sure foundation that will endure through the coming judgment.

Those that are not being taught the full counsel of God will not endure.  Those who endure till the end shall be saved.  The only one that can endure to the end is Jesus Christ.  Not knowledge about Jesus Christ or knowledge of some of His acts, but the knowledge of Jesus Christ living His Life through you.  Everything else will be shaken!

For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh (2 Cor. 4:11).

Being delivered unto death so that the Life of Jesus can manifest in our mortal flesh sure seems a far way off from the "good life" of the false prophets of modern day apostate Christianity!

All ministry and "churches" that are built in the flesh, based upon man's concept of the kingdom of God will be judged and come to naught!  The "church" that Jesus Christ builds is the only "church" that will endure, and the gates of death shall not prevail against it!  Everything that God did not initiate and confirm (yea, conform) through the manifestation of His Life will be judged and gathered out.

Everything that can be shaken will be shaken.  Governments will be shaken and come crumbling down! Monetary systems will be shaken and fall.  God will have no other gods before Him and everything that the flesh has come to rely on will come to naught.  Got alone (and everything that He conforms into the image of himself) will be standing in the day of judgment.

Now will I rise, saith the LORD; now will I be exalted; now will I lift up myself.  Ye shall conceive chaff, ye shall bring forth stubble: your breath, as fire, shall devour you.  And the people shall be as the burnings of lime: as thorns cut up shall they be burned in the fire.  Hear, ye that are far off, what I have done; and, ye that are near, acknowledge my might.  The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?  He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil;  He shall dwell on high: his place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure.  Thine eyes shall see the king in his beauty: they shall behold the land that is very far off (Isa. 33:10-17).

why prophecy?

The purpose for prophecy is not to scare you, but to prepare you.

Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?  Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.  The lion hath roared, who will not fear? the Lord GOD hath spoken, who can but prophesy?( Amos 3:6-8)

God always sends forth true prophets to declare His counsel, in order to prepare His people for what He is about to do (yea, what He has already ordained to do before the foundation of the world).  Some might say well, we don't need prophets, because we have the Word of God.

Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper (2 Chron. 20:20a).

As we can see in this verse there is a difference between trusting in the Lord and believing His prophets.  When you trust in the Lord, you are brought to a place where your heart is established with the Living God.  Then God sends forth His prophets in order to declare his eternal counsel and how to manifest it in the realm of time.

Heaven and earth shall pass away, but the words of Jesus Christ through the mouth of a prophet shall not pass away.  By taking heed to a prophet of God one can come into a deeper understanding of the purpose of God and learn to operate in the timing of His will in the earth.

Let all the earth fear the LORD: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.  For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast.  The LORD bringeth the counsel of the heathen to nought: he maketh the devices of the people of none effect.  The counsel of the LORD standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations (Ps. 33:9-11).

A true prophet declares the full counsel of the Lord.  To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them (Isa. 8:20).
